Now it is yours…

After receiving your headpiece, please check that everything is still in its desired position. Despite my best efforts to carefully minimise movement in transit, it is possible parts may still bend out of position. Contact me within 24 hours if your headpiece has arrived in damaged condition. Sometimes wired elements might need a bit of straightening or flattened leather flowers could use a little steam to manipulate them back into shape. I’m happy for you to contact me for guidance.

How to wear.

Read the product description and refer to photographs on this website for a visual guide on how to wear your new headpiece. Most pieces are designed to be worn on the front-right of your head, with a few exceptions. Some pillboxes are worn on the back of the head, perchers are worn at the centre-front of your forehead and obviously headbands are worn on the top of the head.

How to store.

Fascinators and headpieces can be odd shapes, they’re sometimes delicate in nature and they generally come at a price. Proper storage is important to prevent damage and ensure their longevity.

Your Daisy and Claudette headpiece will arrive in a box, wrapped in tissue paper to ensure safe travel. I recommend you keep your Daisy and Claudette headpiece in this box or one similar. If you are lucky enough to have a large wardrobe, you may have a drawer or cupboard to allocate to storing headpieces or fascinators. Place them in a single layer to prevent them from being squashed out of shape. Cover them with tissue paper to protect them from dust. Hats are best stored in drum shaped boxes.
