Who are Daisy and Claudette?

I am Kristina (neither Daisy nor Claudette), a Brisbane-based wife and mum-of-four. I have a degree in Visual Art and nearly 25 years experience working in creative industries in both Brisbane and London. My need to make beautiful things stems from my childhood. I loved watching my Mum and Grandmother (who was Daisy) knit, sew, crochet and stitch with such skill and perfect execution.  

When my husband and I ventured into part-owning racehorses, I developed an absolute fascination with the amazing millinery on show at every meeting. Accepting the challenge of taking on a new creative venture, I began doing courses and workshops taught by Australian and international milliners.

Every headpiece is designed and crafted by me in my workshop, satisfying my creative whims and providing a little ‘me time’ in the daily chaos that is mum-life.
